Well, I am kind of telling the truth.
Hobby Lobby had marked down
the fake fruit 50% off this week.
I was needing something
red
to fill my glass jar for
Valentine's Day!
Strawberries sounded scrumptious!
4 bags of strawberries later
and it occurred to me that
the strawberries needed something.
CHOCOLATE of course!
Here are the steps to make your own:
Supplies needed:
- Plastic fruit
- Martha Stewart Crafts Brownstone Glitter
- Americana Acrylic Paint in Burnt Umber
- Plaid Clear Acrylic Sealer
- Foam Paint Brush
Directions:
 |
Paint strawberry's tip with brown paint. |
 |
Sprinkle Glitter on the strawberries while the paint is still wet |
 |
It really is that easy!
Spray your strawberries once they are dry with a sealer.
This will help keep the glitter from collecting at the bottom of your jar!
Remember these may look like real strawberries
but they are NOT!
Keep out of reach from young children and little paws! |
