Catching up...

I am still realizing things that I packed- are missing from my lost luggage. Someone with Delta went shopping in my suitcase. I filed my claim with them and I am hopefully closing a door of air travel nightmare. Not all airlines are created equal.

Work always keeps my mind occupied. Here is spotlight for October. It is this Saturday! The owls pop up from under the tree. This is an interactive layout. My inspiration came from the darling Hallmark spooky trees. They are so cute, and the owls dance. The idea for the bats came from the Heidi Swapp rub-ons. The moon with the holes in it came from my lack of sleep. I hope you enjoy the layout and it will work well for your little spooks this Halloween!

As soon as I returned from Europe, Ali and I taught a class together. Don't worry, we are offering it again @ 2 Scrappy Sisters. It is a School Memories album. We offered 3 pages per school year (kdg.-5). One page is for the first day of school, one page is a pocket page for all the memories, and the other is for a class photo or school studio picture. We hope to add packets to it, like field trip pages, etc. We also would like to continue the album through high school. We will keep you posted...

Tons of buttons....
Truck loads of materials....
Embellishments to die for.....

Interactive pages....

Places to journal...

Cute paper piecing....

Plentiful pockets...

and of course, a garland....

Join us for round 2 @ 2 Scrappy Sisters....Kara and Ali

Here is Italy-
Pisa was a lovely city. I purchased undergarments there instead of the Italian leather boots I was dreaming of. Rats!

I am pretty sure I would never grow tired of the view...

Hugs,

Kara

Hey, Kara.

I'm sorry your trip was ruined... You deserved better.

Write to the president of Delta. He/She needs to hear your story. I'm sure your experience is not what Delta strives for and the president should know that there is a band of thieves working for the company.

Your whole saga makes me feel sick to my stomach.

I'm just glad you're home safe and sound. I missed you...Karen

Great pages posted here, can see how they would have a place in most peoples albums.

Fantastic photos, sad that your Delta experience impacted so badly on what should have been a merry adventure.
