Jolly Times

I keep crossing things off my list and checking it twice.

  • Christmas photo taken (Check)

  • Projects finished for EK (Check)

  • Packages Mail (NO)

  • Gifts All Bought (NO)

  • Cards Mailed (NO)

  • Cookies Baked(NO)

  • Kids out for holiday break!(YES)
Here is a little something to relieve stress during the holiday hustle and bustle.
This crazy turkey has moved into my parents neighborhood. I have seen him in many neighbor's yards and along the green way by the park. Around Thanksgiving, I looked for the turkey but didn't see him anywhere. I was sure a hunter shot him for Thanksgiving dinner. As Shane and I were returning from NYC, we stopped at my parents to pick up the kids. As we turned on their street, THERE HE WAS! Tom Turkey was okay and made it through Thanksgiving. I made Shane stop so I could take a quick photo. Between the houses is the elementary school I use to walk to. Maybe Tom took refuge there.

Okay how about some Christmas Crafting?
I used a 12 x 12 frame, removed the glass, and added a piece of Swell Noel pattern paper to the inside of the frame. Added tags from the tag pad and a variety of embellishments. It might be a cute idea to add photos to each tag and use the frame as a countdown to Christmas. I am ashamed to say this project took around 30 minutes to complete. The photo of the kids is beautiful...adorable kids you've got there:) Your checklist is a lot like mine; but, for some reason, I'm not too stressed about it. And now you've got some cute "little" helpers at home!
