Girl's Night Out @ Nell Hill's

Gayle, Ali, and I went to the Nell Hill's/William Jewell College Greek event. Mary Carol showed her decorating vision for the new sorority complex and Greek common at William Jewell. It was a lovely event with 10% off the sales donated to WJC to help complete the complex. Nell Hill's decked out in Spring... with fabric umbrella's, candles, and moss.

It was legendary grandeur!

Nell Hill's Briar Cliff location

Such a lovely view of the city!

Come on inside....
What I love most about Nell Hill's is the range in prices....some items are expensive, while other's are so affordable. The Roman head statue is only $11.

The mood was set with glowing candles everywhere!!!!!

An outdoor arbor inside....I wish it was in my backyard!

Bird's eye view from the second story!

I Loved how these lanterns lite the staircase.

Lovely bedding chosen for sorority housing....

Luscious Linens....

Here are my purchases....hanging candles $3.99.

This one hung also....I took it off the hanger and placed it upside down on a little plate. The Hanger was $3.99 and the plate was $2.99.

A plate for our living room. $8.00

A date book....priceless!

I had to run into Urban Arts....it was across the street. I found some yumminess there too!

Happy Shopping!

Loving those linens :) You made some great purchases. I'm a sucker for pretty candle holders. I have some similar glass hanging ones

I think my jaw is permanently dropped. A girl could really get herself in trouble there.

Hi Kara! Thank you for coming by and visiting me. (and of course leaving me a sweet massage.) I'm so glad you did, because it brought me here to your blog. What a good time I've had!! I used to be in the interior design biz, so I had heard of Nell Hill's before, but being in Az...have never gone. Your pics were wonderful. I love that whole look. And aside from that, your creations are awesome as well. Congrats on all your new ventures. I hope someday I too will be lucky enough to earn a living at what I love to do! Please stop by and visit any time.
xx Karen

Now that's a field trip! As expected, I see there was no detail left behind. I believe a talented friend of mine, Gregory Johnson, is the artist responsible for that beauty. I have the past three years and use them as journals. Thank you for sharing the day with us. Your photos are lovely!
