Okay, the best story comes from this little bracelet Miss H made. She learned how to make these candy wrapper bracelets from this website....
So, she took her money with me to the grocery store on Monday. She bought a bag of Starburst and 2 packs of gum for bracelet making. I was paying at another check out stand, when she came up and said that she didn't have enough money for the tax...so I gave her the tax money and sent her back to the check out stand. When she got there, some stranger had paid for her entire $6 purchase and was gone. We couldn't even thank them. There are so many kind people in the world and sometimes we forget to notice. I think this will be a President's Day Miss H and I won't forget.
Here they are just waiting for books....and things to put on all the little shelves. Nothing that a trip to Hobby Lobby can't fix. Oh, so much to look forward too! I tried taking a picture with the lights on but...not much success with my little Cannon.

Oh, Kara! Your new bookshelves are beautiful. I can't wait to see what little goodies land on them. And, knowing you, there will be a constantly rotating collection of lovelies...;-)

I remember making gum wrapper bracelets when I was in 3rd or 4th grade. We used the silver wrapper and our lovely jewelry always had the faint smell of Juicy Fruit.

I just love hearring that there are indeed people out there that perform those wonderful acts! We do that here at Tim Horton's coffee drive-through. The person in front will often pay for the person's order behind them. That bracelet is so cool and I can't wait to see your book shelf full of books and trinkets!BTW, did you have the little plastic Strawberry Shortcake dolls that smelled??? If so, I am so jealous cause we don't have ours anymore. We also had a house for them.Have a great weekend!
