Our family has 2 traditions on Thanksgiving Day. First, it is to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, as the smell of the turkey fills the room. Second, after dinner we bundle up like Eskimo and head to the Plaza with our hot cocoa in a thermos. The lighting of the Plaza http://www.countryclubplaza.com/plaza.aspx?pgID=915 is such a tradition in Kansas City and such a tradition in our family...
Here is a little garland I created from an old floral stem. Yes, it once had flowers on it. The leaves and frames are chipboard from K and Company's Exposed line. I had a wonderful time decorating it with all of the K and Company's Fall Harvest goodies. Enjoy!
