On the 2nd day of Inspiration...

This is an idea I have been carrying in my mind for a couple of weeks. Each little square is like a mini collage. They measure 2 x 1 5/8. I painted all the blocks ivory first. Then, I covered the fronts and the backs of the blocks. The word "Merry" is covered in the Ivory pattern paper. It's backside is in the red paper. The word "Christmas" is covered in the red paper and it's backside is in the ivory paper. After all the blocks were covered with the pattern paper. I placed some of the rub-on's on the blocks. The rub-on's fit together like a puzzle on the word "Merry." Then, I added the chipboard letters with a glue gun. The last step was to decorate the blocks with stickers, rhinestones, and buttons. I separated the words with some vintage images. Photos would work well for separating the words too. I love black and white images. I decorated a few of the backside of the blocks. See and the bottom of the page here. I plan to add some more photos to the backs and the display it on the fireplace in my bedroom. Happy Holidays...Kara
