On-the-go!

We have just been a family on-the-GO lately.
I guess fall is always like this....busy, busy, busy.
Here are a few things we have done in the past week.

Miss Hayden and I shopping at the Holiday Mart. It is a fundraiser for the Kansas City Junior League and such a fun event to go to. Miss Hayden came away with a lighter wallet and a sassy pair of suede boots. I bought her a black dress with flowers on the neckline made of zipper wrapped fabric. She made such good grades, I couldn't resist.

Sutton was begging to go to the Truman Home. The home is closed for renovations--so Sutton wanted to see it before the renovations. Such a neat piece of history and close to our home.

Of course, we had to have a phosphate at Clinton's.
This is the historical drug store, Harry S. Truman had his first job in.
Miss Ali and I headed out into the country to Kelly's unbelievable home. Here are pictures of the carriage house. It is connected to this gorgeous stable in Platte City. Boy, this girl has talent. To see more and read more about her home...she is in Home in the Northland October/November issue.

We went this past weekend to a breath-takingly beautiful wedding. The bride looked like a princess. She was just glowing with happiness. Here are a few pictures from the reception at Union Station. I was having too much fun to snap any photos.

Mom and I before heading into the church...
Shane and I in the photo booth at the reception. How come I am the one looking so silly. I think he is laughing AT ME....in every shot.

Sunday, my crew headed to watch the poor Chiefs lose. They had fun, but I think with the rain and cooler temperatures, everyone was asleep by 8:00 PM.
I hope fall is keeping you busy.
