Happy 4Th of July everyone! We have started the weekend off with a BANG!
Let's start with a craft....
I had oodles of flags on sticks in my holiday container. So, I pulled the sticks off and started stitching buttons to hold the flags together. I made garlands for the house. The step-by-step directions are on Spotted Canary Miss Nifty Thrifty Blog. I hope you can find some flags on clearance and make garlands galore!
I added Vintage lace to the ends of these flags and hung them in a different directions.
You can stitch patriotic words like America, Home of the Brave, Freedom....Now, pack your cooler, bring your lawn chair and head with me around the corner to my neighbor, Margie's July 3 Bash!
Notice the cars are parked in a patriotic fashion...
2 Hours of a grand fireworks display. It reminded me of Disney World. Many Ooohs and Aughhhs!

Love the crafty Flag idea.. Really cute.. Maybe I can do that for next year.. It came so fast.. I didn't even decorate.. You look like you live in a great neighborhood.. How fun.. Have a Happy Fourth of July and be Safe!!
