Where will you be on June 26

I hope you will be at Vintiques on Thursday, June 26....for "An Evening of Soldering". Ali and I will teach you the how to's along with tips for success. Come create 2 amazing projects! Here is what we will be creating in June for 8 lucky class participants.

Project 1: A hand-cut glass house

You will learn how to paint, stamp, and sketch to create your own, unique collage backgrounds. The collage can be used for jewelry but also can be a technique used in other areas of your art. Add a real watch face inside the glass. Learn how to fuse 2 pieces of glass together. Each house will be hand-cut for you. Embellish your creation with seam-binding, chains, wire-wrapping, and beads. Hang an old key found at Vintiques or an old house key you may have. Make it personal and make it a piece of jewelry you will be proud to wear!

Now, if that didn't get you excited enough....
Project #2
A hand-sewn, 4th of July necklace
Create a work of art for display, by stamping and sewing a star for your glass. It is an easy technique which even the non-sewer can accomplish! Hang a bingo piece or a star charm that you bring or purchase at Vintiques. I chose a fifty for the fifty state. You may want a four for July fourth! Notice how the fabric looks like it floats between the glass...yummy!

Hurry and call...we hope to see you there! 816-283-0989

I wish I lived closer.. Looks like so much fun!! We don't have classes like that around here.. Guess the closest would be L.A. or Sacramento.. I get so frustrated because we need more fun stuff like that around here.. I really love it!
