I can't wait to show you the projects. Don't worry...by the time I finally am posting tonight....my scrappy hole is clean... I seriously can't function when it gets so chaotic.

Every thing is under wraps....see you on Dec. 1. I have got to get some sleep. Kara

November Spotlight...is available!

Here it is...spotlight for November.
You can purchase it at 2 Scrappy Sisters or by calling (913) 788-CROP.
The layout is all about family. It would work well for anytime of the year, but November is when I always think about families getting together. Your family tree may look different than mine. I made plenty of copies of the labels for your frames, so you can fill your tree with the people you love. I also put in several suggestions in the directions on different ways in personalizing your tree. I hope you like spotlight. I will be posting Spotlight for December very soon. I have been thinking about a little Ho Ho Ho or a little naughty or nice. I just can't decide. Now back to the MU game. It makes me too nervous to watch. Kara

Baby It's Cold Outside!

After our turkey dinner, the Ward's headed to the Plaza for the annual Lighting Ceremony. It was so cold here in Kansas City. We brought a Thermos of hot cocoa with us. Even though we were chill to the bone, the lights and the fire works show was wonderful. Ever year, our traditional trip to the Plaza starts our holiday.

GO MIZZOU! I hope you win BIG tonight! Kara

You Never Know...

You just never know where an idea might come from...

This idea came in the mail. It was on the cover of Oriental Trading catalogue. I found a chipboard tree at Hobby Lobby and painted it green. Then I used the K and Company's Peppermint Twist Paper Pad . I cut each strip 1 x 6. I looped the strips and hot glued them to the painted tree. The base of the tree is made from a cake decorator's cardboard insert. I used Peppermint Twist die cuts to decorate the tree. It is topped with a silver ball ornament turned upside down. This project was really fun to create and easy too!

Last Weekend...

The weather on Sunday was beautiful. It was a perfect day for riding bikes and decorating the tree! Thanksgiving is at our home, so I love to have it Christmas ready...

The festivities started by making cookies and drinking hot cocoa. The Polar Express soundtrack played in the background. I had 2 little elves ready and willing to help. The big elf...not so much into decorating....

A million branches...

The helpers...

Will it ever get done?

The big elf...out in the front yard decided to hang lights. Unbelievable. There is hope!

Wednesday, the kiddos are home from school, we will decorate and cook. Fun, fun. Kara
