Just a little something, something...

I have been working on finishing spotlight for September. The idea has been growing in my mind forever. It was nice to finally let it out! September spotlight is "You Color My World With Love". The bright colored stripes under the title is for journaling all the reasons that special someone "Colors Your World". The paper is all Sweet Water. I just love it! Each of the crayons has a round, black button on the center of the crayon. The little hanging tag on the purple crayon is for the date. I hope this layout will work for current school photos or even some vintage ones.

This little gift cone is for the special trick-or-treaters in my neighborhood. I am going to fill it with special candy, Halloween pencils, and maybe a crazy straw or two. I love to have special treats for those neighbor kids that are just so darn sweet. I could also see these cones tied to the back of my dinning room chairs. Each person for dinner would have a special something, something. I will have to be careful what I put in it. My chocolate lab might help herself to the goodies. LOL.

I just love Brenda Walton's Brookfield for fall. This is a little match card book. The poem is so cute- "Carving out memories, one pumpkin at a time". It measures 4 x 12. You can get 3 from 1 sheet of paper. I used the Brookfield Paper pad, so the mini book would be double-sided. This will be perfect for pictures from the pumpkin patch or maybe to hold a few pumpkin recipes.

Artful...

I have been pouring over another beautiful publication by Somerset Studios.

Some of my favorite blogs were selected for this issue.

While reading, I came across an article on Blog Etiquette. I didn't know there was such a thing. Here are the highlights:

  • Do comment on a post if you found it enjoyable. (Leave your email for me so I can write you back.)
  • Don't comment just to link your own blog.
  • Do respond to people who leave comments on your blog. (that's why I need your email)
  • Do link to another blog when you mention it.
  • Don't link to someone else's images.
  • Do let your readers know if you're to be away from your blog for a while. (I am terrible at this...I will do better)
  • Don't ask someone to link to you Web site or blog. Invite them to visit.
  • Remember blogging is a social activity: Be thoughtful, be courteous, be kind.

With all this in mind...Happy Blogging!

Eeek...It's Monday!

Here are a few "Spooktacular" Halloween projects. I love Tim Coffey's new line for K and Company. He is such a wonderful artist. Halloween is just my favorite. I am so ready to decorate my house. My husband would kill me. LOL.

Yummy mini books for your trick or treaters.

A garland to welcome all....

Another mini book...you can't tell in the picture but I layered the stickers between full sheets of acetate. I believe there are 3 layers. It remined me of those board books I had when I was little. I would study them for hours.

A couple of interactive cards.....
