You Never Know...

You just never know where an idea might come from...

This idea came in the mail. It was on the cover of Oriental Trading catalogue. I found a chipboard tree at Hobby Lobby and painted it green. Then I used the K and Company's Peppermint Twist Paper Pad . I cut each strip 1 x 6. I looped the strips and hot glued them to the painted tree. The base of the tree is made from a cake decorator's cardboard insert. I used Peppermint Twist die cuts to decorate the tree. It is topped with a silver ball ornament turned upside down. This project was really fun to create and easy too!

I have that exact catalog sitting on my desk right now! :) May have to take a little trip over to Hobby Lobby tomorrow to look for the trees. I LOVE that paper--have you seen the one with all the Santas on it, in aqua & red? I love that paper so much I think I want to marry it.

Your tree is darling! I'm so glad you shared it! :)
