Home Again Home Again...Jiggity Jig

Scrapfest was a wonderful time...picture 2000 people that all love to preserve their family memories, 30 different companies with make-n-takes, crops every night...and all of this taking place in the world's largest mall.

I took this photo from the 4Th floor of the center of the mall looking down on the classroom stage. This is where I taught my classes. It was pretty intimidating for me. 4 levels of the mall all looking down on me, a headset microphone, a projection camera that put my image on the large TVs, and if that wasn't enough stress...students ready to create a Girl Scout album in 45 minutes. Get your running shoes on....

Back at our make-n-take booth, scrapbookers created this cute little treat sack. It could be used to put a photo in, share treats with, or....

On a layout....I made a sample page with Sutton at the pumpkin patch. I used the treat sack to place pumpkin seeds in. I think it would be cute to take a picture of kids with their Halloween goodies and place their left-over wrappers in the treat sacks. My treat sack slides in and out of the little pocket. A supply list was given to all the participates. The layout and direction are at

Thursday night, K and Company hosted a crop at Archivers in Mall of America. We made this cute little guy and the make-n-take project. So many nice ladies.

Okay, I must admit...I have a problem. A jewelry addiction. No, not expensive jewelry but trendy, fun, inexpensive jewelry. Have you heard of the clothing store Forever 21? I loved going in there to find necklaces, earrings, and unusual bracelet. Forever 21 has opened a new store...For Love 21. This site had some better photos...

-My lovely flash turned the white walls yellow. Mental note #25-Turn flash off in bright, well-lite places....

I loved this wire heart above the cash register....

I was allowed to take photos outside the store but I got into a little trouble when I took the picture in the store...ooops.

How cute is this? You shop on silver platters. No, Shane this is NOT my plate of jewelry but you may recognize those silver hoop earrings.
Here is the best part...earrings were around $3.80 a pair and necklace range in price but started at $5.40. Such a neat store.
