It is raining and pouring...

This weather brings the crafter out in me. I love to create when I can't go outside. Today, we stayed dry in the Nelson Adkins Museum of Art. It was a perfect day to be inspired by painters, sculptors, and a bit of history. I think the kids secretly were hoping the statues would come alive like in the movie "The Night at the Museum." After supper, I headed down to Studio Pink...

Here is the banner I have been working on. It is from the Sparkly Sweet K and Company Collection. I made a banner that says "PRINCESS" using the chipboard letters. I used the Bazzil 5 x 5 chipboard squares to build my banner on. The banner is hanging from a plastic magic wand. The whole thing folds up in a little book. The ponytail holder keeps it all together.

When Hayden was little, she was in love with Cinderella. She would put on her pink ball gown-gloves and all...and wake her Daddy up at 2 or 3 in the morning. She would say, "Daddy, is it time to go to the ball"? It is a favorite memory of mine. I want to get my photos on it and save it for her as a little keepsake.
